Wolf Ridge: Just a reminder that next week our 6th graders will be going to the Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center. The caravan of cars will leave early Monday morning, October 9. Accompanying the students for the week will be Mr. Henning, their teacher, and the following parents: Lisa Jeurissen, Tracy Meyer, and Ryan Hamen. Sheila Vinkemeier will join the group on Wednesday.
Junior Choir: On Nov. 5 at 4:30 P.M., there is a 500th Anniversary Twin Cities Area Reformation Service at St. Croix Lutheran High School. As part of this service, a mass Children’s Choir will be singing, and they have invited 5th-8th grade students to join this choir. There are two pieces that the students would be involved in – both relatively easily learned – and I would teach them to the interested students outside of Junior Choir and music class. A rehearsal schedule is still coming, but all rehearsals with the mass choir would be on that day, Nov. 5. We need to let the director know how many students are interested by October 20. I believe this is a great opportunity for the students to work with a skilled director and a large group. In one of the songs, the children even get to sing with the choirs from West Lutheran High School, St. Croix Lutheran High School, and Martin Luther College! I greatly encourage your children to consider being part of this choir. Let me know if you are interested as soon as possible. Before/After School Care: September Trinity Care billing has been added to TADS tuition accounts. The charge for September was added to your next invoice. If your TADS account is paid in full a new invoice was created that is due on October 25. A copy of your child’s hours will be sent home this week. Please contact the school office if you have any questions.
